Cruquius tower, Cruquius

The home furnishing mall in Cruquius, near Haarlem, has been extensively renovated and extended. A 30-metre-high "landmark" has been erected in the heart of Cruquius Plaza: the Cruquius tower. The steel structure of this tower is made up of 28-ton steel elements. On the inside, the tower has landings every 2.5 metres joined by straight flights of stairs. Staco supplied gratings (type RR 3-30, mesh size 30 x 30) for these landings. The steel elements and gratings were hot-dip galvanised by Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard.
